Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Fans across the globe united with local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage show thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
